Executive Director

Rhonda Glyman administers operations and directs efforts to implement plans and strategies across Center Communities of Brookline.  Prior to joining the Center Communities team, Rhonda held the position of Associate Executive Director at NewBridge on the Charles, Hebrew SeniorLife's continuing care retirement community in Dedham, MA.  After serving as Project Director of The Adelson Educational Campus in Las Vegas, NV, Rhonda's career with Hebrew SeniorLife began in December of 2009.  She has also held management positions in the telecommunications, hospitality and healthcare industries, and served on the Boards of the Jewish Community Center of Southern Nevada, Jewish Federation of Las Vegas, and UNLV College of Education.  Rhonda founded the national award-winning Nevada Partnership for Inclusive Education and was inducted into the Clark County School District's Excellence in Education Hall of Fame.  She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics (Magna Cum Laude) from UCLA.

Director of Property Management

Sophia Powell is responsible for the day to day operations for the three buildings at Center Communities of Brookline. Sophia oversees Dining Services, The Maintenance Department, Office Management as well as the Administrative Assistants. Sophia has over 10 years experience in Property Management. Sophia is a Certified Property Manager and has obtained this credential through the Institute of Real Estate Management.

Director of Community Life

As the Director of Community Life, Jill is responsible for the successful and smooth delivery of programs and resident services across Center Communities of Brookline (CCB), a supportive housing community comprised of 515 independent living apartments. In this key role, Jill upholds and delivers the highest Hebrew SeniorLife (HSL) and industry standards with regards to safety, professionalism, service and quality of care, and works collaboratively with leaders from across the HSL continuum, including our Long Term Care, Medicine, Chaplaincy, Rehabilitation, Home Health, Private Care, and Hospice divisions to ensure the best possible quality of life for residents. . Prior to Center Communities of Brookline, Jill was the Director of Member Services & Fitness Director at NewBridge on the Charles. She has her Bachelor’s of Science from Westfield State College in Exercise Physiology with a strong emphasis on geriatrics.

Director of Social Services

Tammy Sadok oversees and provides social services to the residents and family members of Center Communities of Brookline.  She has been with HSL since 1990, previously providing social services for the long term care residents of the Hebrew Rehabilitation Center and facilitating admissions to long term care both at HRC-Roslindale and HRC-Newbridge. Tammy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Brandeis University and a Masters Degree in Social Work from Simmons College.

Director of Facilities

As the Director of  Facilities at Center Communities of Brookline, Jim Dormady is responsible for the physical operations of three high rise buildings (515 Units) and 20 Townhouses which includes resident maintenance requests, mechanical systems and the physical property. Jim supervises the Maintenance and Housekeeping staff members by following the standards set forth in the HSL Mission Statement.

Jim has been caring for the buildings that comprise CCB for 21+ years so he is familiar with every pipe, wire and water shut off. Since the CCB buildings were built in the 1970’s, they have many mechanical systems not found in more modern buildings. Jim and his crew perform preventative maintenance on every mechanical system on a monthly basis as well as all snow removal. Jim, along with two of his crew members, rotate a 24 hour call schedule. CCB falls under many Government agencies so the maintenance team also ensures that the buildings are prepared for various MassHousing Property Management Reviews, REAC federal inspections, Brookline Housing Authority Inspections, State Elevator Inspections and Fire Department Inspections.

Jim is also responsible for the preparation of the capital and operations budgets for the Maintenance & Housekeeping Departments.
