More than just a place to live, Center Communities of Brookline is designed to support seniors' health and well-being. This includes the Hebrew SeniorLife (HSL) Medical Group located at the Marilyn and André Danesh Family Residences at 100 Centre Street in the Sloane Family/Century Bank Primary & Specialty Care Clinic. Our Medical Group the natural choice for health care because:

  • Our physicians, nurse-practitioners and other care providers are regarded as some of the finest clinicians in their fields
  • Affiliated with Harvard Medical School, the practice is part of one of the largest geriatric departments anywhere in the U.S.
  • Most of our clinicians hold faculty appointments at Harvard Medical School and are involved in advancing geriatric medicine through teaching and research

Our practice is led by Dr. Jennifer Rhodes-Kropf, M.D. who serves as Medical Director. She received her Doctor of Medicine from the University of North Carolina and then completed her internal medicine internship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and her residency in internal medicine at Cornell University/New York Presbyterian Medical Center. Dr. Rhodes-Kropf completed a geriatrics fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital. She is an instructor in medicine at Harvard Medical School.

The group offers:

  • Wellness assessments and customized programs
  • Same-day urgent care appointments
  • Geriatrician or nurse-practitioner available to speak to patients 24 hours a day, seven days a week
  • Onsite laboratory services
  • Electronic medical records

Should the need arise, our Hebrew SeniorLife geriatricians are able to provide continuous, coordinated and seamless care, whether the resident is in a Boston hospital, at one of Hebrew SeniorLife’s post-acute care facilities, or at home. We also offer podiatry and geriatric psychiatric service at the Clinic.
