Hebrew SeniorLife's Marketing Communications staff is available to assist local, regional and national news media in answering questions about the organization and in arranging interviews with any of our experts.

We welcome the opportunity to work with reporters and have established the following guidelines to request information or interviews.

• Please call the Marketing Communications Department at 617-363-8282 to arrange all interviews, photo shoots or for other information.
• Advance notice of on-site interviews is necessary so Media Relations staff can arrange for a room for interviews or shoots, notify the patient care areas or housing sites, and line up the appropriate residents/patients, family and staff.
• To ensure patient confidentiality, privacy and appropriate sensitivity to all patients and families, reporters, film crews, and photographers must always be accompanied by a Media Relation staff person while in any HSL medical or research facility. We follow patient privacy guidelines contained in the Health Insurance and Portability Act (HIPA).
• We require consent from all residents and patients who are interviewed, filmed or photographed by the media or a proxy if the resident/patient is unable to provide consent.
