Our fitness program offers supervised exercise programming with an exercise physiologist. We also offer group exercise classes, including Tai Chi, balance and strength training. All programming is specifically geared to the senior population. Equipment includes two NuStep machines, a recumbent bicycle, a treadmill, an elliptical machine and five Kieser compressed air strength machines. The Fitness Center also has a large assortment of free weights and stability balls.
Our Vitalize360 program helps our residents make lifestyle changes that lead not only to improved health, but to a richer quality of life. With the help of a Vitalize360 coach, residents look at the 360 degree view – health, nutrition, physical and mental fitness, community links, lifelong learning and spirituality – and develop new life goals.
The Simon C. Fireman Community Seniors’ Association is a membership organization with elected officers and a Board of Directors. Their goal is to plan and provide programs and activities for the recreational, cultural and spiritual enrichment of all residents. Nominal dues are collected annually from residents and special fundraising events are held. All residents are encouraged to join.
They also work as a group to give back to the local community. Donations are made to the Randolph Fire and Police Departments as well as local elder service organizations. Food donations are collected monthly for the Randolph Food Pantry.
