Evaluation prior to admission One of Hebrew Rehabilitation Center's clinical liaisons evaluates patients prior to admission to the Medical Acute Care Unit. A decision about the patient's appropriateness for admission is made based on clinical information and a discussion with the patient and family. Once a patient is deemed clinically appropriate, insurance benefits and eligibility are reviewed to ensure that there is adequate funding for the admission.
