HRC offers a junior volunteer program throughout the year for teens between 14 and 18 years old. Youth will be exposed to the rewards of community service and can develop skills in a health-care setting. Applicants will be accepted based on maturity, qualification and the needs of HRC. A commitment of at least 25 hours in a six-month period must be met. A criminal offense record inquiry will be performed by HRC.
Every spring, a deadline will be posted for submitting junior applications for the summer. Volunteers must commit to a minimum of 50 hours to be considered. Vacation periods in the summer will also be considered and may affect acceptance and placement of students.
To apply, fill out our junior volunteer application and mail it to the address below.
*Note: If you are under 18 years of age you will need to print out the TB consent form and have it signed by a legal guardian upon acceptance. TB Minors Consent Form.
