Latent Variable Methods in Aging Research Workshop:

 Measurement Models

Harvard Medical School, Tostetson Medical Education Center (TMEC) Room 227

July 25 - 27, 2012

This workshop is targeted to researchers interested in measurement models, which include item response theory, using latent variable methods. The format of the course will a balanced mix of didactic sessions and hands-on training/demonstration sessions. The workshop is led by applied researchers who use Mplus software in their day-to-day research to address applied aging research questions using latent variable modeling.

What distinguishes this workshop is a focus on applied use of Mplus software (building, fitting and interpreting output from models), rather than a broad survey of modeling approaches capable of being addressed with Mplus or a technical treatment of the statistical theory underlying the modeling approach.

How Much:

(Registration fees includes handouts, breakfast, lunch, two break sessions):

Early-Bird (Until June 13, 2012): $230/day or $590 for all 3 days; On-Time (Until July 18, 2012): $230/day or $690 for all 3 days; On-Site (Until July 25, 2012): $250/day or $790 for all 3 days.
