Application Process
|
The Assisted Living Team at NewBridge on the Charles is sensitive to the emotions and concerns involved in transitioning into an assisted living community, whether it's from independent housing on campus, another campus/facility, or from home. Our priority is to work in close partnership with residents and their families and guide them through the entire application process.
We understand how overwhelming it can be to navigate through the often complex process of completing medical, financial, and insurance forms, so we have made every effort to keep the application process as streamlined and simple as possible.
When considering our Assisted Living Program, the application process typically includes:
- Visiting our community. This is your opportunity to sit with an experienced professional, share your unique story, concerns, and individual needs, as well as tour the NewBridge campus.
- If you decide to move forward, we'll begin the assessment process. By filling out an application and providing us with medical documentation, we can mutually decide if NewBridge is the right community for your individual needs.
- In preparing for your move, you will meet with our key management staff: RN, Move-In Coordinator, Program Manager, Billing Office Manager, and Marketing Director. Each is passionate about their work and brings compassion and extensive experience to our community. They will provide you with the tools and resources you need to make your transition simple and successful.
Once you are part of our NewBridge family, you will be introduced to your Care Coordinator - your primary contact and liaison who will ensure all your needs are met and that each day is enhanced with interesting programs, learning opportunities, and social activities. We believe a stimulating environment and vibrant community contribute significantly to overall health, well being, and quality of life.
