Memory Care Assisted Living at NewBridge on the Charles

Available Physician Services

One of the many benefits for residents in the NewBridge Memory Care Assisted Living Program is the convenience of having a full range of exceptional medical services right on campus. Residents may choose to join the Hebrew SeniorLife Medical group, NewBridge's primary care practice, which is located in the health care center on campus. Our board-certified, Harvard Medical School-affiliated geriatricians provide continuous, coordinated and seamless care.

At our health care center, residents  also have access to specialty medical services and are able to schedule appointments with a podiatrist, cardiologist, orthopedist, ophthalmologist or audiologist. This is also a dental practice on site, specifically designed for an older population.

To help ensure the best possible medical care for seniors, ageriatrician is available 24 hours a day. The geriatrician is a well-rounded clinician with the ability to handle multiple interacting conditions, drugs, social situations, and psychological issues. When determining treatments or solutions, geriatricians also consider the psychosocial and spiritual needs of their patients and patient families.

The NewBridge on the Charles Assisted Living Community is certified through the Massachusetts Executive Office of Elder Affairs.
