At Newbridge on the Charles, the Assisted Living Program for seniors with memory loss who require memory care is a nationally renowned model of comprehensive care designed to enhance cognitive and physical abilities for individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease and/or related dementia in a safe environment just outside of Boston. As a key component of the Assisted Living Program, there are 40 apartments on the NewBridge campus offering memory care for those with early stage to mid-stage Alzheimer’s and dementia.
We offer an individualized care plan for each resident, focusing on therapies and approaches that are specific to each individual's strengths and needs throughout daily activities, working to improve memory, thinking and behavior.
One of the many benefits we offer is the convenience of not having to travel for medical appointments. Residents may choose to join our onsite primary care practice, located in the health care center. Our Harvard Medical School-affiliated geriatricians provide continuous, coordinated and seamless care.
