Research Interests and Teaching Activities
Dr. O'Fallon's primary research interests include infection control, and the emergence of antibiotic resistant pathogens within long-term care populations. Her recent work has focused on identifying and addressing the emergence of multi-drug resistant gram-negative bacteria among residents of long-term care facilities. In addition, she as an Instructor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School teaching physical exam skills to second year medical students and lecturing to Harvard Geriatric Fellows.
