World-class care, comprehensive for you

Get more personalized medical care than traditional long-term care settings or nursing homes.

As part of Hebrew SeniorLife, an affiliate of Harvard Medical School, Hebrew Rehabilitation Center is trusted by families and physicians to provide the highest level of care for older adults. As a licensed long-term chronic care hospital, we offer two Boston-area locations.

Our model promotes a homelike environment and connection with peers. Working collaboratively with patients, their families, and our clinicians, our life enhancement team creates daily opportunities for engagement, helping older adults with chronic or complex diagnoses pursue lifelong interests and feel a deep sense of belonging. Patients are known, not just treated, so families never feel alone, and loved ones always feel at home.

An advanced level of medical care

Our Harvard Medical School-affiliated physicians are on-site at both our Boston and Dedham locations, and our Department of Medicine is one of the largest geriatric practices in Massachusetts

What People are saying about Hebrew SeniorLife

  • "It’s the people who make the difference; a kind word, a gentle nod, a reassuring glance. It’s the people who are the medicine that heals the souls of those who are suffering. And it’s the people at Hebrew Rehabilitation Center who have chemistry and uniqueness unmatched by any I’ve seen before."

    Deborah Friedson

    Daughter of a patient

  • "My father arrived at HRC a little more than six months ago, and his health has already significantly improved. For example, in past years, he could not sleep without sleeping pills, but with the correct lifestyle and care, he sleeps happily without any pharmaceutical aid. His mood is better, and so is his appetite. These are only a few examples of improvements in his health and lifestyle due to your care, kindness, and professionalism."

    Family member

  • "My family thanks you all for taking such good care of my mother in the final months of her life. Thank you to the nurses for your utmost professionalism and attentiveness, your sensitivity and patience, for communicating with us at all hours of the day by phone and in person, for giving us peace of mind. We will never forget the care, hard work, patience and warmth, day and night, of all the service staff."
