David Tsai, M.D.

David Tsai, M.D., has been on staff in the Department of Medicine at Hebrew SeniorLife since 2006. He is an attending geriatrician, director of Hebrew SeniorLife’s Palliative Care program, and medical director of Hebrew SeniorLife Hospice Care. He received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Southern California and his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Hawaii. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center, and his fellowship in geriatric medicine from Boston Medical Center. Dr. Tsai is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine with added qualifications in geriatric medicine. He is a Certified Medical Director by the American Board of Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine. Dr. Tsai maintains hospital privileges at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital, Beverly Hospital, and Emerson Hospital.
