Aline Russotto, Executive Director
Aline Russotto's career started at Orchard Cove in 1998, and has since grown to her current role as executive director. In addition to overseeing Orchard Cove’s operations, she is a member of Hebrew SeniorLife's senior living leadership team. She is a member of the board of trustees of LeadingAge Massachusetts, the state chapter of the national organization, and began her term as board chair in October 2019. Aline has also served as a coach for its Leadership Academy and as a board member for the national organization.
Aline is passionate about supporting the best lives of the seniors she serves through person-directed, innovative programming that aligns Orchard Cove's delivery of care and services with the values and preferences of its seniors. She led the creation of the award-winning Vitalize 360, a goal-driven and outcome-based program that inspires seniors to make lifestyle changes leading to improved health outcomes and a greater quality of life. Aline is a graduate of the Lausanne School of Hotel Management in Switzerland.
Catherine Couture, LICSW, MPH, Director of Community Life
Catherine Couture joined the Orchard Cove team in 2014. For the preceding five years, she was a close colleague of the Orchard Cove team in her role with Hebrew SeniorLife Private Care. Cat has served in both social work and public health positions after earning her master's in social work and public health from Boston University. Cat's passion is building vibrant and engaged communities while helping the individuals in those communities define what it means to live their best day. Cat is a graduate of the LeadingAge Leadership Academy.
John Ralston, Director of Culinary Services
John Ralston enhances our residents' quality of life by customizing the dining experience to reflect the tastes, sensibilities, and values of this community. More than 35 years of experience in the hospitality industry — nine years with Hilton, eight years with Marriott, and four years with Hyatt — have provided John with a solid food and beverage background in customer service, as well as the banquet, bar, and catering arenas. He enjoys collaborating with residents to provide the highest level of satisfaction in their dining experiences.
Dave Barthel, Engineering Manager
Dave Barthel joined the Orchard Cove team prior to the opening of our community. His background spans 40 years in facilities management in the Greater Boston area. Dave leads a committed team of individuals responsible for the care of the community, and the ongoing enhancements that continue to make Orchard Cove a beautiful place for our residents and their visitors.
Katia Fearebay, Manager of Housekeeping
Katia Fearebay came to Orchard Cove in April 2009 with more than five years of experience in the hotel industry. Katia takes pride in maintaining the highest possible standards for the cleanliness of Orchard Cove. Katia oversees the cleaning of all independent living, enhanced living, skilled nursing, and common areas, ensuring that housekeeping activities are carried out professionally, to standards, and with the highest level of service.
Deb Symonds, RN, Director of Care Continuum
Deb Symonds has been at Orchard Cove since 2005. She is a graduate of Regis College and holds a master's in nursing administration and business management. She brings more than 35 years of nursing experience to Orchard Cove, including many years in a hospital setting. Deb enjoys working with the Orchard Cove team in making sure that the care delivered at Orchard Cove is aligned with values and preferences at all stages of life and points of care.
Leeanne Sniegoski, RN, Director of Nursing
Leeanne Sniegoski, RN, joined Hebrew SeniorLife in 2019 as director of nursing for Orchard Cove's 45-bed, Medicare-certified skilled nursing floor. She started her nursing career at Massachusetts General Hospital in 1986 and strives to make every encounter with residents and families a positive and meaningful experience, while providing individualized patient-centered care. Leeanne works with our exceptional interdisciplinary team of geriatricians, nurse practitioners, nursing assistants, rehabilitation specialists, and social workers who provide medical and rehabilitative care centered on the specific needs of each patient we serve.
Babacar Diop, MBA, Director of Care Excellence
Babacar Diop oversees the skilled nursing and enhanced living communities of Orchard Cove. He drives quality and endorses change to ensure the care delivered at Orchard Cove is resident-directed and aligned with what matters most to each resident. He also leads the quality, safety, and emergency preparedness initiatives throughout our entire community. Babacar joined Hebrew SeniorLife in 2013 as the director of clinical laboratory and radiology services. His portfolio includes acute care, public health, and geriatric management. He is well versed in the clinical, fiscal, and regulatory arenas surrounding his work, having studied clinical science and earning an MBA in health care management from Texas A&M University. Babacar is committed to building sustainable communities where residents’ experiences and clinical outcomes are enriched.
Carole Johnson, CPA, Vice President of Finance
Carole Johnson oversees all of the fiscal operations. She has been with Hebrew SeniorLife since 2009 and worked in the corporate offices prior to coming to Orchard Cove. She is a CPA with more than 25 years of experience in public accounting, consulting, and corporate accounting management. Her focus is maintaining the highest standards of financial reporting and control for Orchard Cove.
David Calnan, Senior Sales Counselor
David Calnan joined Orchard Cove as the senior sales counselor in 2014. His experience in the field of senior living, garnered over 25 years in continuing care retirement communities, brings breadth and a deep understanding to the process prospective residents experience while they consider and ultimately move to a community like Orchard Cove. Creating relationships built on clarity, trust, and understanding is what he does best.
