JSH_sub_Siegel.jpgWhen you visit the Jack Satter House, look for resident Norma Siegel staffing the front desk twice a week. She's been greeting residents and guests to the community since she first moved in with her husband from Chelsea 18 years ago. "I couldn’t be living in a better place," said Norma of the Satter community. Her leadership as a resident has had much to do with that.

Norma has drawn hundreds of residents in to participate in the activities offered at Satter House. She started a Jewish congregation of worshippers at Satter House with services in Hebrew and English. Upwards of twenty residents attend every Friday night.

Norma says she definitely describes herself as a "people person" which is why she enjoys leading and participating is so many activities at Satter. She has had a love of film all her life so she also organizes monthly movies for residents to enjoy together. All of the proceeds are donated to local charities in the area.

She's also quick to say "she's just a leader and that she can't do anything alone" without the participation of the many residents who also contribute. And clearly her fellow residents respect her and the commitment and contributions she is making to the Jack Satter community.
