"They customize the care to the individual, pulling from resources across the campus."

As is true in each part of the continuum of care on our campus, the Jack Satter Assisted Living Residences at NewBridge on the Charles is transforming the experience of aging. Here, seniors enjoy the abounding amenities of our socially, intellectually, physically and spiritually stimulating community while receiving assistance with activities of daily living. Residents can move to Assisted Living directly from the community, as well as from other residences on the NewBridge campus.

Individual Attention, Maximum Independence

Each resident benefits from the close attention of our management team and staff. In meetings with residents and their families prior to moving in, we learn about each individual in detail – their history, talents, preferences, and goals – and work with them to develop an enriching and meaningful assisted living experience that utilizes our many supportive services. We continually work with the resident and family to customize their experience further over time including care plan meetings several times a year.

Programming as Sophisticated as our Residents

Our exceptional programming is based on the core principle that our residents can continue to pursue their interests and passions at every stage of life. The seniors living at NewBridge have lead active, amazing and highly accomplished lives. Our programming reflects the depth of their intellect with lectures, performances, programs, talks and trips geared toward their diverse interests.

Stunning Design Built to Complement Our Unique Natural Setting

Our campus, apartments and common spaces offer elegant, contemporary interiors and thoughtful design choices that optimize the quality of life for our residents while connecting to the surrounding natural environment. Walk through our community and you will see as many examples of NewBridge’s extensive art collection as you will see panoramic window views of our 162–acre wooded campus.

A Whole Neighborhood – and Medical Practice – on One Campus

Residents may choose to join our on-site physician’s practice staffed by experienced geriatricians and medical specialists. Harvard Medical School-affiliated geriatricians provide continuous, coordinated and seamless care from their easy-to-access on-campus offices. Additionally, residents and their families enjoy the ease of on-site amenities such as a kosher deli, coffee shop, ice cream parlor, art studio, movie theatre, gym, swimming pool, beauty salon, bank, convenience store and walking trails. We share our campus with a K-8 day school and through our intergenerational programs, our residents have frequent interaction with young students.
