The Sarah E. Trilling Cohen Library is a hub of community activity. It is well stocked with books (many available in large print), newspapers and magazines. The library is staffed by knowledgeable resident volunteers who are always willing to make a recommendation.
The Art Studio is available for individual artists as well as art classes. The studio also serves as the site of an active knitting club.
G & G is located just off the main lobby and is open Monday through Thursday from 10am – 4pm and Friday from 10am – 3pm. It is stocked with a wide variety of reasonably priced items such as dairy products, ice cream novelties, cereal, soda and juices, snack, canned good, paper goods, greeting cards, cleaning supplies and toiletries. Residents and visitors are welcome.
Our computer center is equipped with four computers and a printer. Residents can send and receive emails, read the newspaper on line, play computer games, surf the internet, pay bills, renew drivers’ licenses and write letters. Volunteers are available to assist with computer questions.
Our full-service salon is open Wednesday - Friday. Our experienced staff has provided service to our residents for many years. Services include shampoos and haircuts for both women and men, perms, color, styling and manicures.
Sandwiches, soup and hot meals are available Monday - Friday in our lobby coffee shop.
Healthy, nutritious kosher dinners are served on weekday nights in our main dining room. Residents may purchase individual meals or a monthly meal plan. These evening meals provide a wonderful opportunity for our residents to socialize and get to know each other.
