Volunteers play an active role in every aspect of our community. Nothing happens at Simon C. Fireman Community that isn’t the result of people working together. Every activity, every event, every program is the result of residents volunteering their time for the betterment of the community. Volunteers staff the front desk, assist their neighbors in choosing a new book, teach computer skills, serve lunch in our coffee shop and clerk in the general store. It is what makes Simon C. Fireman the warm, welcoming and engaged community that it is.

Congregation Beth Trilling

Simon C. Fireman Community created Congregation Beth Trilling in the mid-1980s. The congregation is committed to creating a community where caring, friendship and spiritual enrichment are fostered through the planning and providing of Jewish programs.

Congregation Beth Trilling offers Kabbalat Sabbath services and Jewish holiday celebrations. They lead the community in prayers and remembrances said on behalf of members and prepare Oneg Shabbat for special family occasions.

Members of the Congregation invite all to join them each Friday for Sabbath services.
