Biography

Susan Kalish, M.D. is a palliative care physician who works at Hebrew Rehabilitation Center in Dedham, where she has been on staff since 1991. Dr. Kalish received her bachelor’s from Princeton University and her master’s from Harvard School of Public Health. She received her medical degree from Cornell University Medical College. She completed her internship in general medicine at Rhode Island Hospital in 1989 and her residency in general medicine from Rhode Island Hospital in 1991. Dr. Kalish completed her fellowship in geriatric medicine at Harvard Medical School in 1994. She completed a program in clinical effectiveness from Harvard School of Public Health in 1994. She also completed a fellowship from American Federation for Aging Research/Merck Foundation in Geriatric Clinical Pharmacology. Dr. Kalish has been certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine since 1991 and American Board of Geriatric Medicine since 2001. She has been a clinical instructor at Harvard Medical School since 2002.
