Joanne is a dementia specialist and social worker at Hebrew Rehabilitation Center’s long-term chronic care Memory Support Unit and a palliative care social worker in the short-term Rehabilitative Services Unit.
Joanne was a case manager for the ALS Association, has led expert trainings on both Alzheimer’s disease and domestic abuse in seniors, and was a founding member of the LGBT Aging Project in Boston. She also has extensive experience in home care and leads caregiver support and bereavement groups. She is a nationally certified care manager (C-ASWCM) and a member of the National Association of Social Workers and New England chapters of the Aging Life Care Association.
