The hearts and minds of Jack Satter House residents are enriched through their active involvement in several multigenerational programs with local public and private schools. The diversity of programs includes music, writing, history, culture and community outreach.
The Jack Satter House has a Pen-Pal Program with the third grade class at the A.C. Whelan Elementary School in Revere. Letters are exchanged every other week exploring a common theme together and developing young students writing skills.
For over ten years, Satter House has developed a partnership with the Cohen Hillel Academy in Marblehead. Students visit the Jack Satter House several times each year to celebrate Jewish holidays including activities such as crafts, songs and a celebration of Jewish culture and tradition.
Recently, the Jack Satter House was awarded a grant to participate in program through the "Bridges Together" non-profit organization dedicated to uniting children and older adults through community-based programs.
