Biography
Eran Metzger, M.D., has been on staff in the Medical Department at Hebrew SeniorLife since 1998; first as the associate director, and subsequently as medical director of psychiatry in 2011. Dr. Metzger received his Bachelor of Science from Haverford College and Doctor of Medicine from Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. He completed his transitional residency at Brockton Hospital, and his residency in psychiatry at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. He completed his fellowship in consultation-liaison psychiatry at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Dr. Metzger is certified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He has been an assistant professor of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School since 2003.
