Matt Smith has over 20 years of experience working in geriatrics and almost 10 years in hospice care. He entered the nursing profession as a Licensed Practical Nurse trained in the ARMY. More recently, he graduated from Fitchburg State University in 2012 with BSN in Nursing. During Matt’s nursing career, he held various leadership roles in both hospice and long-term care. Prior to joining Hebrew SeniorLife, Matt was the Director of Nursing at a skilled nursing facility. He’s certified in Hospice and Palliative Care (CHPN) and Wound Care (WCC).
