The Rehabilitative Services Unit located at Hebrew Rehabilitation Center in Boston provides post-acute skilled nursing care to patients following an acute hospital stay.

Care is delivered by Harvard Medical School- affiliated doctors, nurses and therapists who specialize in the care of older patients. Our patients are referred to us from many of the finest hospitals throughout Greater Boston because we are highly respected for our ability to help seniors recover from surgery or illness.

The Rehabilitative Services Unit is an appropriate setting for patients recovering from a variety of medical and surgical conditions, including joint replacement and strokes. A support group for stroke survivors is offered for patients during and after their stay.

Therapies, including physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech-language pathology, are provided daily and are tailored to meet the patient’s individual needs.

Physicians and clinicians representing dozens of medical specialties are available for consultation to ensure that all of your medical needs are addressed. Dietitians, Palliative Care practitioners, Spiritual Care staff and Expressive Therapists round out the multi-disciplinary care team.

In Boston, we are located in the Roslindale neighborhood, near the Arnold Arboretum and minutes from the Longwood Medical Area. Our Boston location has served patients since its opening in 2001.
